The Echo Shadow X is a competition-bred hybrid built for anglers who refuse to carry two rods. It throws pinpoint Euro nymph rigs with the line feel and control a comp angler needs, then reaches out and delivers longer dry-fly and indicator casts when the situation shifts, all from one blank.

The medium-fast action is the lightest Echo makes, so you get all-day comfort and instant feedback without sacrificing versatility. Tim Rajeff tuned it with competition in mind, but it is just as at home on your favorite trout stream.

Key features

Hybrid design for Euro nymphing and longer overhead casts
Four-piece travel design
Medium-fast action; Echo's lightest blank
Charcoal gray finish
SIC stripping guides and hard chrome snake guides
Anodized aluminum reel seat
Echo lifetime warranty
