To celebrate 50 years of handcrafting high-performance fly rods, Scott chose one rod from each decade of its history and rebuilt it as a limited edition tribute. This 9'0" 9-weight 3-piece is the anniversary nod to the legendary STS series, the rod that put Scott on the saltwater map with Florida Keys captains and traveling anglers chasing the tropics.
The STS built on the success of ARC with multi-directional layups and pioneered the first multi-modulus blank designs, and the 909/3 is widely considered the crown jewel of that transformative series. Rather than simply reproduce the original, Scott built the blank to the original spec and finished it resto-mod style with today's best-in-class components, so it's instantly recognizable to Scott history buffs yet thoroughly modern in hand. As a limited edition collector's piece, it's a genuine never-part-with rod.
