The "hybrid" in the name is a real two-fabric design. The main body is a 100% recycled polyester stretch plain weave with a wicking finish, while the hood and shoulder/sleeve panels use a stretch jersey with an anti-pilling finish and HeiQ Pure odor control. Both fabrics carry 40+ UPF protection, and both are light, quick-drying, and built to move with you while wicking moisture.
The standout feature is the removable hood. Take the hood off and the River Rambler transforms into a woven, collared button-up for the times you do not need the extra coverage, so one shirt covers two roles. When the hood is off, corrosion-proof snaps keep the collar in place on windy days, and the collar extends over the back of the neck for added sun protection.
The details are dialed for fishing. An integrated lens cloth is sewn into the front hem for clean optics within easy reach. Two large vertical-zip chest pockets with corrosion-resistant zippers swallow a fly box or a passport with secure, quick access. A longer hem and sleeves add coverage, and the hoody is sewn in a Fair Trade Certified factory, which means the people who made it earned a premium for their work.
