The AXIS lock is the reason people keep coming back. Ambidextrous, opens and closes one-handed from either side, and it snaps shut with more authority than a two-ounce knife has any business having. The mini deep-carry clip rides low so almost nothing shows above the pocket seam.
At $200 this is the entry point to the Bugout line, and for most people it is also the right stopping point. S30V takes a keen edge, holds it through months of ordinary use, and comes back on a stone without a fight — which is more than can be said for the exotic steels further up the range.
Five colours, all the same knife underneath. Dark Olive wears a Desert Verde Cerakote blade; the rest run a satin finish.
