The Grizzly Creek is a folding hunter that carries its own field-dressing kit — a 3.49" S30V drop-point plus a dedicated gut hook that swings out separately.
The gut hook is the point of this knife. Opening an animal with a straight blade risks puncturing the stomach; a hook rides under the hide and opens it cleanly without going deep. Having it as a second blade rather than ground into the main one means the main blade stays a proper knife.
Dark brown stabilized wood scales, brass liners, AXIS lock. At 4.18 ounces it is a substantial knife — you would not carry it as EDC, and it is not meant for that.
CPM-S30V is stainless, which matters more on a hunting knife than most places. It gets wet and stays wet, and it does not always get cleaned the same day.
