Outcast Boats
Outcast started in 1995 as the fishing division of AIRE, the Idaho whitewater outfit, and has been building inflatable fishing craft in Meridian, Idaho ever since. The company is employee-owned, which is unusual in this category and shows up in how they handle warranty and service.
Two things make an Outcast different
The AIREcell system. The outer shell is not what holds the air — an internal bladder does. That means a puncture in the fabric does not sink you, and a failed bladder can be swapped rather than patched. On a pontoon miles from the truck, that is the difference between a bad afternoon and a swim.
Précontraint Ferrari PVC. Outcast has exclusive access to this outer material in the fishing watercraft category. Underneath it sits 1670-denier polyester at 37 oz per square yard, with Leafield C7 valves.

Warranty — and the distinction matters. The PRO Series rafts and the PAC 1200 are built in Idaho and carry a 10-year no-fault warranty. No-fault means exactly that: it covers damage you caused, not just manufacturing defects — tubes, fabric, D-rings, AIREcells, valves and zippers. The OSG float tubes, frameless boats and PAC 800 through 1000 carry a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Outcast does not publish a warranty length for the Fish Cat series specifically. If that matters to your decision, call us at 970-964-9991 and we will get it confirmed rather than guess.
Where these go around here: the stillwaters up on Grand Mesa, the Gunnison below the dams, and every high-country lake within a couple hours of the shop. A float tube gets you off the bank on water where a boat is not an option, and a PAC pontoon handles moving water a tube cannot.
