One difference from the men's version worth knowing: Simms describes the men's SolarFlex hood as vented; they do not describe this one that way. If a vented hood matters to you on hot afternoons, ask us and we will check the pair side by side before you order.
Choosing between the women's hoodies
| Hoody | UPF | Weight | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| SolarFlex | 50+ | 145 gsm | Hot sun, all summer — the default |

| Glades | 30+ | 172 gsm | Cool mornings and evenings; softer, cowl-neck hood |
All stocked here.
Care: machine wash cool, tumble low, no fabric softener — softener coats the fibers and undoes the wicking and anti-odor performance.
