Women's Simms sizing uses different words — here they are
- “Full” is the women's term for extra girth. It is the equivalent of “King” in the men's line, not a longer size.
- “Tall” is the women's term for the long inseam.
- The bootie size is built into the wader size — women's booties run 6-7, 8-9, and 9-10.
- This is the one Simms chart tied to height: Short fits about 5'1" to 5'3", Regular about 5'4" to 5'7", Tall about 5'7" to 5'9".
Women's waders are genuinely hard to buy online — the fit varies more than men's and the vocabulary is different enough to trip people up. Simms's Custom Shop can also build sizes that never appear on a website.
Stepping up: the G3 Guide moves you to GORE-TEX with a 4-layer GORE-TEX Pro lower, built in Bozeman. That is the real jump in the Simms line — the Freestone's Toray QuadraLam is a good fabric, but it is not GORE-TEX.
Warranty: 60 days no questions asked on leaks, free repairs through the first year, then a flat fee covering evaluation, repair, testing, and return shipping. Roughly three weeks turnaround. Bring them to us and we will handle the claim.
