Why a hip pack: it keeps weight off your shoulders, swings around to your front when you need it, and stays out of the way when you are casting. For a half day on foot it is usually the right call over a sling or a vest.
We also stock the Tributary Sling Pack and the Tributary Vest in the same family. Come by and try them loaded — an empty pack tells you nothing about how it carries.
