The Bantam Lite is Korkers' hiking-inspired boot — built for anglers who cover ground and want something closer to a trail shoe than a traditional wading boot. Speed laces with non-corrosive hardware, an EVA midsole, an internal ankle wrap, and protected stitching at the heel counter and toe.
This package ships with felt and Kling-On sticky rubber soles.
At 8 inches and 2 lb 8 oz per pair, it splits the difference between the low-cut Greenback and the tall BOA boots — and it has the broadest size run Korkers offers, 5 through 15, which makes it one of the few boots that works for a wide range of feet.
Why two soles is the point. Felt grips slick, algae-covered rock better than any rubber. It is also the best-known carrier of whirling disease spores and didymo between drainages, because it holds water and mud for days. Korkers lets you sidestep that entirely: fish felt on your home water, then clip on the Kling-On rubber before you drive to another river. A minute, no tools — toe clips in, heel strap secured, step down and gravity seats it.

One caution if you fish salt. Korkers markets the Bantam Lite for saltwater as well as fresh, but their Rock Solid Guarantee specifically excludes rust and corrosion damage, including from saltwater exposure. That is worth knowing before a flats trip — rinse everything in fresh water at the end of every day.
Also available: the same boot with felt plus Studded Kling-On if you want more bite on slick freestone, and a women's Bantam Lite in a lower 7-inch cut. Both on our site.
Warranty: Rock Solid Guarantee — one year on defects, OmniTrax soles included. Korkers publishes no country of manufacture.
Sizing: whole sizes only; boots go over wader booties, so plan on about a full size above your street shoe. Spare soles are unisex, sized to the boot. Bring your waders by — call 970-964-9991 and we will have sizes waiting.
