The BuckSkin Mary was Korkers' women's lace-up wading boot — a women's-specific last, RockGuard rubberized anti-abrasion upper, scratch rubber toe cap, and a heel lock, shipping with Kling-On sticky rubber and white felt OmniTrax soles.
Sold out, and Korkers has dropped it from the current line. We would rather tell you that plainly than leave you waiting on a restock that is not coming.
What replaced it, and both are stocked here:
- Women's Bantam Lite — the closest match. A lace-up (speed laces), lighter at 2 lb 4 oz, lower cut at 7 inches, and it ships with two OmniTrax soles just like the BuckSkin Mary did.
- Women's Darkhorse — the step up. A BOA dial instead of laces, 9 inches tall, Achilles stabilization, and Korkers' women's flagship. The right pick if you wade heavy water or want real ankle support.
Still fishing a pair? Good news: OmniTrax 3.0 soles are still current and sold separately, so you can keep re-soling these rather than replacing them. Felt, Kling-On, studded Kling-On, Vibram XS Trek, even aluminum bar — all fit, and all are sized to match your boot. Call the shop and we will get you the right size.
