The Devil's Canyon is the athletic one. A BOA M4 dial, a stretch upper cuff that Korkers describes as giving a glove-like fit, reduced seams, recessed triple-stitched uppers, and a molded toe cap — all at 3 lb 2 oz per pair, the lightest of Korkers' three 9-inch BOA boots.
This package ships with Kling-On sticky rubber and felt soles.
The reason to buy Korkers. Felt grips slick, algae-covered rock better than any rubber compound — and it is also the best-known carrier of whirling disease spores and didymo between drainages, because it holds water and mud for days. Korkers is the only brand that resolves that: fish felt on your home water, clip on the Kling-On rubber before you drive to another river. About a minute, no tools — toe clips in, heel strap secured, step down and gravity does the rest.

Devil's Canyon or Darkhorse? They sit at a similar level and cost. The Devil's Canyon is two ounces lighter with a stretch cuff and a more athletic, flexible feel. The Darkhorse adds 3PFS Achilles stabilization and a bit more structure — the better pick if ankle support is your priority or you wade heavy water. We stock both; put them on side by side and your feet will tell you. Above them both, the River Ops is the toughest build and the only Korkers with a two-year warranty.
Warranty: Rock Solid Guarantee, minimum one year on defects, OmniTrax soles covered. Rust and corrosion damage, especially saltwater, is excluded. Korkers publishes no country of manufacture.
Sizing: whole sizes only; boots go over wader booties, so plan on roughly a full size above your street shoe. Spare soles are unisex, sized to match the boot. Bring your waders and try a pair on — call 970-964-9991 and we will have them ready.
