Why the sealed drag matters. Salt and sand kill fly reels gradually rather than dramatically — the drag gets grabby until it stutters on a good fish. A fully sealed drag keeps both out. On a reel headed for a trip you saved up for, that is the spec worth paying for.
Warranty: Redington original-owner lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Rinse it in fresh water after every salt day.
