The Bailout is Benchmade's tactical folder — a piercing tanto blade on a slim, ultralight frame. The 537BK-06 is the version that makes it an everyday carry knife rather than a duty tool.
Where the rest of the Bailout line runs aluminum, this one uses Grivory with textured grip zones, which drops it to 2.05 ounces — well over half an ounce lighter than its aluminum siblings. The blade is CPM-S30V under a graphite black Cerakote, and the lanyard pommel is the plain aluminum version without the glass breaker.
Two practical notes. S30V is stainless, unlike the M4 that runs in most of the Bailout range — so this is the one to buy if it is going to get wet and live in a pack. And at $200 it is half the price of the carbon fibre version while doing the same job for most people.
