At 1.96 ounces this is the lightest knife in the entire Osborne range, and it carries the M390 blade from the full-size 940-04.
Blue denim micarta is compressed resin-soaked canvas — textured, warm in the hand, and it develops its own patina with use. Dark copper PVD hardware against the blue. It is the least tactical-looking knife Benchmade makes and it happens to have one of their best steels in it.
M390 is a stainless powder steel with edge retention that outclasses S30V by a wide margin, with no maintenance penalty. Satin finished reverse tanto blade, 2.92", AXIS lock.
Same $275 as the aluminum and MagnaCut versions. This is a preference decision, not a value one.
