The scales are layered G10 — black over a blue base — so the milling cuts through to the colour underneath. It is a practical material as much as a decorative one: G10 grips better than aluminum when your hands are wet, which is the situation most fly shop customers are actually in.
Same CPM-S30V blade and reverse tanto profile as the aluminum 945. Two ounces and change, 6.76" open.
