Abel Reels is made in Montrose, Colorado. So is Ross. The people who anodize Abel reels work down the road from our front door — which is why this collaboration means something here that it would not mean at a shop in another state.
Benchmade brings the knife: the Mini Adira platform, their dedicated water folder. CPM-MagnaCut blade — the most corrosion-resistant steel they use, chosen specifically for knives that live around water. Drop-point profile, AXIS lock, and a leash hole so it can be tethered, because a knife dropped in a run is not coming back.
Abel brings the finish. Their anodizing is what the company is known for, and it is the same process that goes onto their reels.
This is a limited collaboration rather than a catalogue item. When it is gone it will not be reordered.

This is a special collaboration and Benchmade does not publish it in the standard dealer workbook, so we have not listed blade length or weight — we would rather leave a row blank than print a number we cannot source. The standard Mini Adira runs a 3.21" blade at 3.09 oz and this is built on that platform. Ask us if you need it confirmed.
