The Pro runs multiple TRM layers inside its ThermalCore insulation. They are quiet underneath you, and they push infrared energy back toward the sleeper instead of letting it sink into frozen ground. That is what takes this mat past shoulder season and into genuine winter use.
Underneath the insulation it is the same 10cm / 3.9in Air Sprung Cell platform, so the comfort does not change when the temperature does. It is about 25 percent lighter than the previous generation, and the XPRESS valve plus the pumpsack built into the stuff sack keeps setup and takedown quick with cold hands.
