The 3.4-inch modified reverse tanto blade is ground from CPM-S30V stainless steel, a premium American steel that holds an edge through months of daily use and resists corrosion without fuss. The reverse tanto profile stacks mass behind the tip for strength while keeping a long, slicing belly, so it handles everything from opening boxes to field work with ease. Dual thumb studs let you open it one-handed from either side.
The slim anodized aluminum handle is light in the pocket but rigid in the hand, with stainless liners and the signature anodized titanium backspacer that gives the 940 its unmistakable look. At 2.9 ounces and 4.47 inches closed, it disappears in a front pocket until you need it, and the reversible clip configures for left or right-hand carry.
