The Infidel is the knife most people picture when they hear "out-the-front automatic." It has been in the line since 2007 and it is still the benchmark.
Double-action OTF: the slider fires the blade out and retracts it, both on the same control. What sets the Infidel apart is scale and solidity — a 3.91" double-edged dagger on a black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum chassis, 4.9 ounces, with no flex anywhere in it.
The steel is D2 tool steel at 60-62 HRC. D2 holds an excellent edge and is tough, but it is not stainless — it will develop surface rust if stored wet or handled with sweaty hands and left. Keep a light oil on it.
Two things to know before ordering. This is a double-edged dagger, which is separately restricted from automatics in a number of jurisdictions — some places allow autos but not double-edged blades. And automatic knives are restricted in some states and municipalities. Both are on you to check. We ship where it is legal to do so.
