Blacked out end to end. The 535BK-2 swaps the standard Grivory scales for Benchmade's CF-Elite — a carbon-fibre-reinforced composite that comes out both lighter and noticeably stiffer than the plastic it replaces. You feel the difference when you squeeze the handle: no flex.
At 1.8 ounces it undercuts the standard Grivory Bugout, which was already the benchmark for ultralight carry. The blade wears a black finish to match, and the same CPM-S30V steel runs underneath — so you gain rigidity and lose weight without paying the premium-steel price.
Same $200 as the Grivory versions. If you want the stiffest Bugout at the entry price, this is it.
