The Tiemco TMC 100SP-BL is the barbless, heavy-wire member of the renowned TMC 100 family, offered here in a 100-pack that keeps the vise well stocked. "BL" marks it as barbless and "SP" as Super Point, Tiemco's extra-sharp point treatment.
Two things set this version apart. It is built on heavier wire than the standard TMC100, which gives it more strength and a touch more weight. And despite being barbless, its longer Super Point ensures the same holding ability as the barbed TMC100, so you give up nothing in fish-holding by fishing barbless. That heavier wire also makes it versatile: it ties classic dry flies like the TMC 100 is known for, while having the backbone to handle nymphs and heavier patterns.
