The Intersect is Benchmade's answer to the knife an angler actually needs on the water: small, fixed, and always within reach. It is a compact fixed blade built to ride on a wader strap, pack, belt or pocket and come out fast when a line needs cutting or a fish needs dispatching.
The blade is CPM MagnaCut at 60-62 HRC, a 2.68" drop-point with a stonewash finish. MagnaCut matters more here than on almost any other knife: it holds an edge, it is tough, and it shrugs off corrosion, which is exactly what a blade that lives around water needs. Spine jimping gives your thumb a place to land when your hands are wet and cold.
The handle is Santoprene in Depth Blue: grippy, a little soft, and secure even when slick. The molded sheath uses a quick-mount design with a black oxide deep-carry clip, so you can move it between your waders, belt and pack without tools.
