Guide-grade waders, waist-high. The G3 Guide Pant gives you the same GORE-TEX construction and Bozeman, Montana build as Simms's flagship chest waders, in a pant cut that is cooler, lighter, and far less bulky.

Why this exists, and why guides buy them. Most wading happens below the waist. Chest waders in July are a sweat box, and a pant wader with a proper GORE-TEX shell gives you the good fabric without the heat. For summer, for boat days, and for anyone who hikes to their water, this is often the smarter buy — it just gets overlooked because chest waders are the default.

Construction: GORE-TEX, made in the USA of imported materials. Only the G3 Guide and G4Z carry a USA build statement in the Simms line — everything below them does not.

Features

  • GORE-TEX waterproof breathable construction
  • Waist-high cut with belt
  • Zippered storage
  • Anatomically engineered neoprene stockingfeet with anti-microbial finish
  • Works with any stockingfoot wading boot

Current pricing is on the selector above.

The obvious caution: no upper means a deep step gets you wet. In spring runoff, or on rivers where you routinely wade chest-deep, get the full G3 Guide Stockingfoot instead — also stocked. Plenty of anglers own both and choose by season, and that is a genuinely sensible way to do it.

Wear a belt. Always, chest or pant.

Sizing: as across the Simms line, the bootie size is built into the wader size — “L 12-13” is a large with a 12–13 bootie — with inseam chosen separately. Call 970-964-9991 or stop by and we will measure you and match the bootie to your boots.

Warranty: 60 days no questions asked on leaks, free repairs through the first year, then a flat fee covering evaluation, repair, testing, and return shipping. Bring them in and we will handle it.
