Where Simms's line actually divides. Worth knowing before you spend: only the G3 Guide and G4Z are GORE-TEX, and only those two are built in Bozeman, Montana. Everything below them uses Toray or polyester fabrics with no published country of origin. That is the real dividing line in the Simms range, and it is a clearer way to decide than comparing feature lists.
Sizing — how Simms does it
- The bootie size is built into the wader size: “M 9-11” is a medium with a 9–11 bootie
- King means roughly two extra inches of girth, not extra length
- Inseam is chosen separately: Short, Regular, or Long
Size from your largest girth — chest, waist, or hips — then inseam, then bootie.
