Set expectations on the fabric. This is a 97% cotton pant. It breathes, it wears in nicely, and it is comfortable all day — but it is not a rain pant and it is not quick-drying. Cotton holds water. If you are going to be wet, wear waders over it or pick something synthetic. Simms's own site briefly describes this pant as water-shedding; that copy belongs to a different style and we are not going to repeat it.
Getting the length right: the three inseams are the reason to buy this pant. Short is 30", Regular is 32", Long is 34". If you have been hemming pants for years, this is the one that saves you the trip to the tailor. Not sure which you are? Call 970-964-9991.
Warranty: Simms covers functional defects with a replacement. Within the first year, repairs are on them. Beyond a year they will repair it or make it right.
