The Mission is Orvis's dedicated two-handed series — trout spey, switch, and full spey rods for anglers who are serious about swinging flies. Nine models from an 11'4" 3 weight up to a 14' 9 weight.
Currently out of stock in every size. Rather than leave you guessing: call the shop. We will tell you what Orvis can still supply and how quickly, and if the Mission is not coming back in your size we will say so instead of stringing you along.

In stock now, if you want to start swinging this season: the Orvis Clearwater Two-Handed covers the same lengths and line weights and is on our shelf today. It is the sensible way into two-handed casting, and it carries the same 25-year Orvis guarantee.
Whichever rod you end up with, talk to us about the line. Head grain weight, running line, and tips matter more on a two-hander than the rod does. We will match a Skagit or Scandi setup to your rod and your water — that conversation is free and it is the difference between loving spey casting and giving up on it.
Warranty: the Orvis 25-Year Guarantee. Original owner, proof of purchase may be required, modest processing fee on repairs.
