Abel Vaya Fly Reel - Basic Black - 7/8 WT with Ebony Handle

The 7/8 is the big brother of the Vaya line - a Basic Black trout-and-more reel with a dark ebony handle, sized up for streamer rods, big-water trout, bass, and light saltwater duty. The blacked-out finish keeps it all business while the extra capacity handles heavier lines and longer runs.

Designed and machined in Colorado, the Vaya is a partially-ported, large-arbor reel with a sealed carbon-and-stainless drag. Even in this larger size it stays balanced and smooth, with the stopping power to turn a strong fish and the adjustability to fish it with finesse.
