Spare spools for the Galvan Torque. Machined from the same 6061-T6 bar stock in Sonora, California, with the same Type II anodize as the reel.
A second spool is the cheapest way to double a setup — floating line on one, sink tip or intermediate on the other, swapped streamside in about four seconds with the push-button release.
Compatibility — read this first
- Match the size, not the line weight on your rod. A T-5 spool fits a T-5 reel. Check the size stamped on your reel foot if you are unsure.
- These also fit Rush Light reels of the same size. A T-5 spool drops into an R-5 LT, and vice versa. Same-size only.
- They also fit the G.E.N. euro nymph frame — Galvan built that closed frame to accept Torque and Rush spools.
- They do NOT fit the Brookie or The Grip. Those are separate platforms with their own spools.
