The Guru X HD carries everything that makes the Guru X a staple: CNC machined precision, simple elegant lines, and added durability and rigidity without giving up a lightweight feel. The larger fluted click stop drag knob, thicker shaped handle and radiused reel foot elevate both feel and performance.
What sets the HD apart is its full frame design. It completely captures the spool so even the thinnest running lines or mono can't slip between frame and spool. The sizes are matched for Spey, switch and Euro nymphing rods, where those lines are part of everyday fishing.
