Open it completely and you have a flat quilt for a muggy summer night at low elevation; close it up and you have a full mummy bag holding heat at 30F or 15F depending on the model. Fill is 650-plus fillpower Ultra-Dry Duck Down, treated so it keeps loft when the air in the tent gets damp. The shell is a 20D polyester that breathes well enough to move moisture out overnight and still holds up to repeated stuffing, and the bag compresses into the included compression sack. Inside, a brushed liner gives you room to move without dragging cold fabric across your skin.
