is a fly tying wire, non tarnishing and perfect for your sea trout, saltwater and salmon flies. Measuring 0.5mm or 0.02 inch diameter the non tarnishing means it can even be used in saltwater. Wire 0.5mm is part of our large range of wire colors suitable for most flies
Having developed and manufactured our own computerized spooling machinery Wire 0.5mm is put onto the spool with touching turns in totally level traverse, why is this important? With Wire 0.5mm you will not get a birds nest when tying flies or have wires trapped. Our spools have a removable cap to re-trap the wire once you have removed a section to tie your flies.
Tie on Wire 0.5mm and tie off with thread. Rather than cutting simply wiggle and it will break saving damage to your scissors
