The TFO Moment One is a one-piece version of TFO's flagship saltwater Moment, built for anglers who want the most direct, responsive connection possible when the shot finally comes. With no ferrules in the blank, power transfers cleanly from the butt to the tip, so the rod tracks straight, recovers fast, and delivers the fly with speed and accuracy when you only get one cast.

An extra-fast action backed by Kevlar and graphene reinforcement gives the Moment One the stability to fight big fish and the crisp recovery to cut through wind. Saltwater-specific components keep it tough enough for hard days on the flats chasing redfish, bonefish, permit, and tarpon.

Key features

One-piece construction for maximum power transfer and feel
Extra-fast action for speed, accuracy, and wind-cutting loops
Kevlar reinforcement for blank stability under load
Graphene technology for fast recovery and dampening
REC Black Pearl guides
Saltwater-specific construction and components
Available in 7-, 8-, 9-, and 11-weight models
Backed by TFO's no-fault lifetime warranty

Note: one-piece rods ship oversized. Planning a saltwater trip? Come see us at Ed's Fly Shop, 432 E Main St in Montrose, Colorado, and we'll help you get rigged up.
