The average feather ties one fly. Hackles a range of 5 to 6 hook sizes ( i.e. appoxamately sizes 10 through 18). High fly mass per pelt. Some pelts that otherwise may have made Silver grade or higher are graded Bronze because of some apparent but minimal cosmetic deficiencies.
