The Carbon Disc Drag
The Crosswater IV features a newly upgraded, fully carbon disc-drag system that delivers reliable fish-stopping performance and a smoother startup. A large-notched drag knob makes adjustment quick and easy in the heat of the fight, so you can apply the right pressure exactly when you need it. The Crosswater IV frame and spool are constructed from durable composite material that prioritizes a lightweight design. The Crosswater IV comes in the two most popular sizes in fly fishing. The 4/5/6 freshwater size is perfect for trout, small bass, and panfish, and ships with 5 weight RIO Mainstream line. The 7/8/9 all water size is best for sport fish like salmon, large bass, stripers, and redfish, and ships with 8 weight RIO Mainstream line.
