The Ross Evolution LTX in Crimson Red is Ross's light, sealed disc-drag workhorse: machined in Montrose, Colorado, just down the street from our shop. The LTX pairs a genuinely strong, fully sealed drag with one of the lowest weights in its class, which is why it's become the go-to all-around trout reel for so many anglers.
This one wears a deep Crimson Red finish over the LTX's clean machined frame and large-arbor spool: fast line pickup, smooth startup, and the kind of stopping power that handles everything from spooky risers to a hot rainbow in heavy water.
