The Field Kit Trout was Redington's ready-to-fish 9' 5 weight outfit: a medium-fast 4-piece rod, a Run 5/6 reel in black, RIO Gold line with backing, and a RIO 9' 5X Powerflex leader, rigged loop-to-loop in a Cordura carrying case.
Currently sold out, and Redington has discontinued this kit. Its replacement is the Redington Classic Trout Kit: in stock on our site now, with an upgraded machined reel, RIO Gold XP line, and a lifetime warranty on the whole outfit. For a lower-cost start, the Redington Original Freshwater Kit is also stocked.
Warranty: Field Kits already in the field carry Redington's original-owner lifetime warranty.
