The Ross Colorado in Chartreuse is a lightweight click-pawl trout reel machined right here in Montrose, Colorado: the same town as our shop. At home on 0- through 5-weight rods, it pairs a classic all-metal click/pawl with a clean, modern look and a bright chartreuse finish that's easy to spot in the bottom of the boat.
Fully machined from a one-piece frame and spool, it comes in well under three ounces, so it balances small-stream and euro-style rods without adding swing weight. The crisp, audible click is pure trout-reel character.
