The Petitjean MP Releaser is a purpose-built tool for quick, gentle catch-and-release, letting you free a fish at the hook without ever lifting it from the water or handling it. Designed by Marc Petitjean around his MP bobbin-holder concept, it makes responsible releases fast and stress-free for both you and the fish.

Key features

  • Slides down the tippet to the hook and releases the fish automatically
  • Integral spring cushions sudden movement from the fish
  • Secures the tippet reliably so it will not slip out mid-release
  • Flick-of-the-wrist tippet release if the fish makes another run
  • Ideal for barbless single hooks and no-kill fisheries

Nice releaser and I have multiple on different packs/ vests and gave this one to buddy as he liked the releaser but didn’t want I spend the cash to get one. Marc Petitjean designs, tests , and makes high quality gear for fly fishing so can’t go wrong with his products
