Orvis sizing is refreshingly simple. Unlike Simms and Patagonia, which use multi-letter codes that fold in bootie size and girth, Orvis runs plain S/M/L/XL with Short and Long variants. Easier to order — but it also means the bootie size comes along with the body size rather than being chosen separately. If you have big feet on a smaller frame, or the reverse, talk to us first, because that is exactly where the simpler system falls down.
Get the fit right. Call 970-964-9991 or stop by. Waders need enough room to layer underneath in cold weather and enough inseam that you can take a long step onto a rock without the crotch stopping you. Five minutes in the shop saves a return.
Pairs with: the Orvis Clearwater Wading Boots in rubber or felt, and the lighter Orvis Ultralight Wading Boot — all on our site.
Guarantee: covered by Orvis's guarantee. Bring them to the shop and we will start the claim for you rather than sending you to a call center.
