The RIO Elite Scandi MDC Kit Long gives Spey anglers everything needed to fish top to bottom: a floating Elite Scandi body, a wallet of four 18 ft Multi Density Control tips, and a spool of SlickShooter shooting line matched to the head weight. MDC tips are densest at the fly end, so they cut down through the column tip-first and keep you in straight-line contact through the swing.
The tip set runs from full floating to fast sinking - F, F/H/I, H/I/S3, and I/S3/S5 - and color-coded welded loops make changes quick on the bank. The Long version's 18 ft tips build a longer total system suited to longer rods and bigger water.
