Part of Scott's 50th Anniversary collection, this limited edition 9'0" 4-weight 4-piece honors one of the most important rods the company ever made, the original G904/4. When graphite arrived in the mid-1970s, Harry Wilson imagined a long, light-line rod using the new material, and against the doubts of his peers he built the first 9-foot 4-weight graphite rod. It changed fly fishing.
That rod gave technical trout anglers a new tool for long leaders and small flies on rivers like the Henry's Fork, Hat Creek, and the Paradise Valley spring creeks, allowing them to control drag, fish light tippet, and land big trout like never before. To this day the G904/4 is named among the finest light-line rods ever built. Scott rebuilt the blank to the original spec and finished it resto-mod style with today's best components, making it both a working rod and a collector's tribute.
