The Swing is Scott's two-handed and switch lineup, built for swinging flies to steelhead and salmon. Medium-fast flex, fast recovery, and progressive tapers that load with Skagit heads, Scandi heads, or long bellies depending on the model. Built one at a time in Montrose, Colorado.

Picking one
- New to two-handed? The 12'8" 7 weight is the standard answer. It handles Skagit and Scandi, floating and sinking, and covers most steelhead water in the West.
- Winter steelhead with heavy tips? The 12'8" 8 weight. Built to throw T-14 and T-18 without protest.
- Summer fish and skated flies? The 13'8" 7 weight for long-belly work, or the 11'8" 6 weight if your water is smaller.
- Want one rod that switches roles? The 9'8" models fish as heavy single-handers — indicator rigs, streamers, tight brushy rivers.
On grain weights: Scott does not publish grain windows for the Swing series — only line weight. Head weight depends heavily on whether you are running Skagit, Scandi, or a long belly. Call us before you buy a head. We will match a line to the exact model rather than guess from a chart.
