Grundens came to fly fishing from the commercial fishing deck, and it shows. The Bedrock is built the way gear gets built when the people wearing it are at sea for a living — practical, tough, and free of features nobody asked for.

Features

  • Waterproof, breathable multi-layer construction with fully taped seams
  • Adjustable suspenders; converts chest-high to waist-high
  • Zippered chest storage and a fleece-lined handwarmer pocket
  • Reinforced knees and seat — the areas that actually wear out
  • Built-in gravel guards
  • Anatomical neoprene stockingfeet
  • Wading belt included

Check the selector for available sizes — anything not showing we can order in. Current pricing is on the selector above.

Why consider Grundens over the usual names? Two reasons. Their heritage is genuinely commercial-marine, so the durability is not marketing. And they tend to deliver a feature set that competes a tier above their price. If you have only ever looked at Simms, Patagonia, and Orvis, this is worth pulling off the rack and handling.

Pairs with the Grundens Bedrock Wading Boot — same family, designed together, also stocked here.

Sizing: come get measured. Waders need room to layer underneath in cold water and enough inseam to take a long step onto a rock. The bootie also has to fit inside your wading boot with a sock. Call 970-964-9991 or stop by and we will get all three right — that is the one thing a website genuinely cannot do for you.
