Korkers' flagship, and the boot that makes the strongest case for their whole system. The River Ops BOA pairs a BOA micro-adjustable dial with an Exo-Tec upper — 360 degrees of molded, abrasion-resistant protection in a flexible package — and it comes with two complete sets of interchangeable soles.
This package ships with felt and Vibram XS Trek soles. Two boots in one box, effectively.
Why the swappable sole matters more than it sounds
Felt grips slick, algae-covered rock better than any rubber compound. It is also the best-known vector for moving whirling disease spores and didymo between drainages, because it stays wet and holds mud for days. That puts most anglers in an awkward spot: choose grip or choose biosecurity.
Korkers is the one brand that lets you have both. Fish felt on your home river. Swap to Vibram in about a minute when you head to another drainage. No tools — insert the toe clips, secure the heel strap, step down, and gravity seats it. It is the most practical answer to the felt problem anyone sells.

Warranty: the River Ops is one of only two Korkers boots carrying the extended two-year Rock Solid Guarantee — everything else in the line is one year. OmniTrax soles are covered too. One important exclusion: damage from rust or corrosion, particularly saltwater exposure, is not covered. Korkers does not publish a country of manufacture.
Also available: the same boot with Vibram XS Trek plus Studded Vibram if you want maximum traction rather than a felt option, and a lace-up River Ops with an identical upper if you would rather not have a dial. All on our site.
Sizing: whole sizes only, and boots go over your wader booties — plan on roughly a full size above your street shoe. Extra soles are sold separately and are unisex, sized to match your boot, so a size 10 boot takes a size 10 sole. Bring your waders to the shop and try a pair on over them. Call 970-964-9991 and we will have sizes ready.
