The women's Bantam Lite is Korkers' lightweight, hiking-inspired boot cut for a woman's foot — and at 7 inches and 2 lb 4 oz per pair it is the lightest boot they make in a women's fit. Note that it is genuinely a lower cut than the men's 8-inch version, not just a scaled-down size.
This package ships with felt and Kling-On sticky rubber soles — two complete outsoles in the box.
Why two soles matter. Felt grips slick, algae-covered rock better than any rubber compound. It is also the best-known carrier of whirling disease spores and didymo between drainages, since it stays wet and holds mud for days. Korkers is the only brand that lets you have both: felt on your home river, Kling-On rubber when you travel. Swapping takes about a minute with no tools — toe clips in, heel strap secured, step down.

Bantam Lite or Women's Darkhorse? The Bantam Lite is lighter and lower with speed laces — the better choice if you walk a lot and want less boot around your ankle. The Women's Darkhorse is 9 inches, a pound heavier, and adds a BOA dial and Achilles stabilization — the better choice for heavy water and maximum support. Both stocked here, and worth trying on together.
If you fish salt: Korkers markets this boot for saltwater as well, but their warranty excludes rust and corrosion damage, including from salt exposure. Rinse it in fresh water every day.
Warranty: Rock Solid Guarantee — one year on defects, OmniTrax soles included. Korkers publishes no country of manufacture.
Sizing: whole sizes only, and boots go over your wader booties — plan on about a full size above your street shoe. Women's wading boot sizing catches people out, so this is one to try on. Spare soles are unisex and sized to the boot. Call 970-964-9991 or bring your waders by and we will get it right.
