The Strike II is Redington's dedicated European-nymphing rod — a long, medium-fast blank with an extra-sensitive tip that telegraphs the softest take, and a handle reshaped so the balance point sits closer to the reel where a tight-liner's hand actually lives. The blank is left unpainted: stealthy, no rod flash over spooky fish.

We stock the full three-model lineup.

Full lineup

Model Line Length Pieces Best for
2100-4 2 wt 10' 0" 4 Smaller water, tight quarters
3106-4 3 wt 10' 6" 4 The do-it-all euro rod
4106-4 4 wt 10' 6" 4 Bigger fish, heavier rigs

Current pricing is on the selector above.

Picking one

  • Most anglers: the 3106-4. It is the go-to on the Uncompahgre and Gunnison — light enough to hold a drift all day, enough backbone for a good brown on 6X.
  • Pocket water and creeks: the 2100-4.
  • Stonefly rigs and bigger rivers: the 4106-4.

Key features

  • Medium-fast action with an extra-sensitive strike-detection tip
  • Reshaped handle moves the balance point toward the reel — less fatigue holding rigs high
  • CNC-machined anodized reel seat with micro fighting butt
  • Single-foot guides cut weight; twin tip-top snake guides keep fine tippet from wrapping the tip
  • Unpainted stealth blank; epoxy-coated section tips
  • Cordura rod tube with built-in dividers included

Setting up for euro? We rig these in the shop — leader, sighter, tippet ring, the works. Pair with a Redington Run or Ace 5/6 to balance the long blank.

Warranty: Redington original-owner lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
