Worth knowing: the 9'5" 5 weight is the only medium-fast rod in the series. Everything else is fast. If you like NRX+ components but find fast rods unforgiving, that is the one to cast — it is easy to miss on a spec sheet.

NRX+ or IMX-Pro V2? Both are built in the same Washington shop. The IMX-Pro runs Conduit Core with GL7 resin and chrome hardware and is a genuinely good everyday rod. The NRX+ moves to Dynamic Recovery Technology with titanium SiC guides, AAA cork, and an aluminum tube. You are paying for blank recovery and components, and you can feel it at distance. Above it: the Asquith is the halo — blanks rolled in Shimano's Spiral X facility in Kumamoto, Japan and finished in Woodland. It is the only rod in G. Loomis's fly line not rolled in the USA, and the only one with Flor-grade cork.

Warranty: limited lifetime to the original owner against defects in workmanship and materials, proof of purchase required, non-transferable.
