Grundens built the Deck-Boss for commercial crews working wet decks, and it has quietly become the boot a lot of women wear for everything around fishing — the launch, the mud, the barn, the school run in a Montrose spring.

100% waterproof, ankle height, pull-on. No laces to soak or tie with cold hands.

Specifications

Waterproofing 100% waterproof
Height Ankle
Outsole Non-marking lugged rubber with razor-cut siping — sheds mud while gripping a wet deck
Midsole Compression-molded EVA for shock absorption and all-day cushioning
Lining HeiQ Pure anti-odor; HeiQ SmartTemp thermo-regulating
Closure Pull-on

Why siping works. Those razor cuts open as the sole flexes, so water and mud squeeze out from under the tread instead of sitting there like a lubricant. It is the reason a deck boot grips wet aluminum when a hiking sole skates — same principle as a snow tire.

Colors we carry: Silt and Cherry on this listing, plus a Maritime colorway on its own page. Check the selector for sizes — and call 970-964-9991 if the size you want is not showing, since these move quickly and we restock them.

Current pricing is on the selector above.

Being clear about what they are not: these are not wading boots. No felt, no studs, no drainage — water that gets over the top stays in. For actual wading, look at the Grundens Bedrock or Bankside boots, both stocked here. The Deck-Boss is for everything either side of the fishing.

Care: wipe with a damp cloth, clean with cold fresh water only, no solvents. Pull the insoles and air dry away from direct sun or a heater — heat degrades rubber faster than wear does.
