Buy tippet the way you actually use it. This is a full dealer pack of RIO Powerflex tippet — twelve spools of a single size — so the size you burn through fastest is always in the vest instead of on a back order.
Powerflex is RIO's supple nylon: it knots reliably, has enough stretch to protect a light tippet against a hot fish, and turns over well on a standard trout leader. If you guide, tie a lot of leaders, or simply run through 5X faster than anything else, buying a pack is the cheaper way to do it.
